Welcome to the church of Christ in East Oakland!
Our mission is to REACH out to transform souls with the Gospel and RAISE them to be mature saints who REJOICE in worship, RELATE to their church family, and RESTORE their communities.
As the East Oakland church family, we exist to help each member to become a fully functioning BEING in Gods eternal kingdom. Our goal is to help him/her:
BUILD up the kingdom and community using his/her spiritual gifts (ministry)
Helping the member to discover an utilize his/her special and unique talents and spiritual gifts to make the Body stronger and assist others who are in need of the Lord.
EXTEND to the lost with the Gospel (evangelism)
Showing the member how to present salvation to their family, friends, and their community through innovative and personal needs-based evangelism.
INCLUDE himself/herself in loving, healthy Christian relationships (fellowship)
Connecting the member to other Spirit-led family members through spiritual, social, and educational events & ministries.
NOURISH his/her mind with the Word of God (discipleship)
Empowering the member holistically concerning his/her purpose, the Word of God.
GLORIFY and praise the name of the Lord (worship)
Reenergizing the member by instilling passion for the presence of God through inspiring and substance-filled worship services.
